Thank you everyone for your encouraging messages, positive thoughts & prayers during this extremely hard time, it has all helped so much! Please continue to pray for our sweet baby as we gather information & options as to where we go from here. We did receive a small glimmer of hope this morning, I will post about it as soon as we know more.

Hello from Finland! Thank you for your update. I have been following Ryker´s path and I have had so many questions during this week. I´m so happy that he is feeling better now <3
ReplyDeleteMy daughter Vilja (she is our fifth child :) ) has HLHS, Coa, Haa and pulmonary vein stenosis in both sides and in that big vein where this two meet (sorry I don´t know english word for it :) ). Vilja had to have second surgery before it was planned (at the Çge of 2.5 months) because after Norwood she was very sick and we had to stay at the hospital until second operation. Her proBnp was 50 000 :( We were also told that maybe she wont survive and your story makes me remember those days. After second surgery (they had to undo Norwood because there was nothing else to do) she have been so good! They ballooned her pulmonary veins ones in cathedrisation and after this her heart has been working well. She is soon 2 years old and very happy girl! Her proBnp is now 200 :) If you don´t see her scar you coudn´t believe what she has been threw.
I will pray miracles for Ryker too! Miracles do happen even if it is hard to believe it in a situation you are. Our loved ones and even strangers prayed for Vilja when we needed it most. Now it is my turn to pray.
I will send strenght to your family.
With love,
Noora and Miracle Vilja
